Will You Marry Me?

No.  I am not married.  I am not engaged.  I do not even have a boyfriend!  However, today we WILL talk about my wedding and the cake that I will have.
My favorite cupcake is the red velvet cupcake!  I love it!  The delicate taste and how moist the right cupcake is when you bite into it is just perfect.
Along with the cream cheese icing - that one bite can send you into yester-year when life was perfect and bliss was the exact nature of everything God had created!  That is the cupcake called Red Velvet.
Red Velvet is also one of the most famous cupcakes right now in the world.  But I want everyone to know - you heard it here first...  I loved red velvet way before anybody else did - or before celebrities made cupcakes famous.
I love cupcakes.
So here is my wedding cake:
I will make a few alterations - my cake will be altered just a little bit alternating with a layer of cake and a layer of cupcakes.... That way it can be really tall (like 10 feet :))  Expensive? yes.
Worth it?  yes.
I love the red black and white too... depending on how I feel when I get married - i hope those are my colors though. They are the best - despite what my best friend things about her pink and green combo.
This next picture is how I want my [non-existent] boyfriend to propose.

[This and baseball] would be the perfect proposal ever.  I can’t actually wait until that day comes - it’s going to be like years away but it’ll be perfect I just know it.  I thought these cupcakes were ideal for making a girl feel special.  Cupcakes make me feel special - because no matter which one I get it’s so tasty.  I feel like it was made just for me :)

This last picture I thought was absolutely adorable.  What a fun graduation announcement.  As I am looking to graduate in a couple of weeks - I saw this announcement and wished that 2 weeks ago i would have done a cupcake photo shoot and done a graduation announcement that was this cute.
I heard that you can get the apron at Anthropology and of course the cupcakes at Cupcakes on Kavanaugh and the cupcake tiers probably at Williams and Sonoma!
Love cupcakes and be Happy

Why Cupcakes?

I am officially the worst blogger ever.  I can’t remember to sit down and write something - I always have a cupcake and can always talk about its decadence and how much I miss them.  However, sitting down at my computer and remembering to scribble something out is just not something I am in the [habit] of doing yet.  So bare with me - it will come!  And I have plenty of cupcakes to tell you about! Get ready!
Today, however, I want to tell you about an article in my favorite magazine since my weight loss...
This is the May issue: And it has some GREAT stuff in it.
This is an excerpt of what is in it:

Curb Cravings:
Picturing yourself eating a food bite by bite reduces how much of it you actually consume, reports the journal Science.
Hold up - talking about cupcakes actually reduces how much I eat it!  I knew there was a reason that I started this blog!  Praise the Lamb!  There is a method to my madness (my mom says that all the time) :)  love her.  okay back to the story...
Using this technique with M&M’s caused subjects to eat 61% fewer pieces.

So it’s not cupcakes - but same difference right?  Both are delectable and both are rich and sweet and beautiful to consume!  yum!  and 61% that’s a big chance - that means that because I talk about cupcakes ALL of the time - i will consume 61% less calories because I get the satisfaction from talking not eating.  haha - oh my friends know me well - i LOVE talking.  and I know they are probably rolling their eyes saying “great now she is going to really start talking about cupcakes...” well get ready life because abby is BACK IN TOWN with the cupcake blog!
back to the article:
Visualizing eating a good can TRICK your mind into believing that you have already gobbled it!  Which reduces your desire for more, says study author Carey Morewedge, Ph.D., of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Well [Carey Morewedge, Ph.D., of Carnegie Mellon UNiversity] in Pittsburgh - thank you for contributing to my cupcake blog today! You are absolutely a GENIUS!  I thank God today for people like you that make cupcakes more interesting to talk about and better for me :) ha I wish the statistic was the
((more you talked about the food the less calories you consumed when you ate it. ))
Oh well, for the time being
Be Happy and TALK about Cupcakes

Sweeter Than Honey.

Psalm 119:103
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth.
In the next few months, I will be concentrating on a myriad of things.  Some being self-improvement - while others are just for fun.  This blog is just for fun.
I stumbled across this verse because in a bakery I have recently been in, don’t ask me which one because I can’t remember, but this verse was written on the wall and printed on their take out bags.  I thought to myself what a great way to encourage myself to NOT eat cupcakes.  Worship the Lord.  His words are sweeter than honey to my mouth.
I don’t know about you - but I love the sweetness and how strong and rich the first bite of a cupcake is!  It’s freaking incredible!  The cream cheese or better yet, buttercream, frosting with the bite of moist cake that you can actually taste the butter in.  It’s delicious.
So a bite of encouragement - read God’s word - that can be your cupcake of the day! ha
I will however, as promised, feature a cupcake.
Today’s cupcake is a cupcake that would be heaven to eat right now... however coming in with a whopping 1235 calories - I think I will pass.

the R e e s e’ s   C u p c a k e :

Girls and Boys - if I were eating that cupcake first I would take off the reese cup and eat it - in one bite... then I would take a good cake and icing bite - and sit there and enjoy the utter goodness of a nice thick peanut buttercream frosting and a chocolate moist cake.  The cake would most likely crumble it’s so moist and I would love eating every piece of that cupcake.  It would take me a while because I would want to enjoy every bite of peanut butter coupled with the chocolate cake to give a sensational reese flavor.
This cupcake is DIVINE!!!

First Day of a Long Road.

Hey Guys! My name is Abby and I am headed to Miss Arkansas to compete against 40 some-odd other girls for the position to be the Arkansas ambassador for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. One of my favorite things on earth is eating a cupcake. Why you might ask is that my favorite thing? Well, let me tell you. I love the cake. I love the Icing. And I love how every cupcake is equal and everybody gets the same cute decoration and the same amount of icing. So many times people argue over corner pieces of cake, middle pieces of cake, or the cake piece with the most icing! So my answer... CUPCAKES!
However, the down-side, there are not many downsides to Miss Arkansas, however, the down-side is that you can't eat cupcakes while preparing to wear a bikini on stage. Because when you are on stage in your swim suit - there are these 5 people that have been payed to look for every piece of cellulite, every jiggle when you walk and most importantly - to see how skinny you aren't. They actually judge you on this! So... What is my answer...
I will stare and imagine and describe eating cupcakes - until I can actually do it. So please post, follow, and comment on my posts and join me in this journey. At the bottom of the page you will see my countdown. Today I have 100 days until I can eat a cupcake. And everyday until then... I will be looking at cupcakes - maybe even giving you fun recipes I have found - and if you aren't on that bikini diet for the summer and you can afford the 500-800+ calories that cupcakes give you - please tell me. Comment and allow me to enjoy that cupcake with you!
I can't wait.
Let's get started :)
Today's post will be a poem called CUPCAKE ANTICIPATION.
I hope you enjoy!

hope you enjoyed that!  I did!
as my dear friend Kati Baldwin says to me (check out her blog http://katisgetaway.blogspot.com/ )
